BACKGROUND

Depo Bangunan is a building materials company based out of Jakarta, Indonesia looking to revolutionize the way customers shop for building materials and household supplies. By offering a comprehensive range of products under one roof it aims to provide a complete, convenient, and cost-effective solution without compromising quality.

BRIEF

As Depo Bangunan’s online presence grew and more customers turn to WhatsApp for purchases, the need for a more robust Ecommerce platform became evident. Acknowledging the limitations of their current approach, Depo Bangunan partnered with Kemana to develop a fast and scalable Ecommerce solution.

GOALS

Our objective was to establish a swift and scalable Ecommerce platform, emphasizing urgency of its development. Depo Bangunan aimed to have the Ecommerce site constructed as quickly as possible, recognizing the critical need for speed and scalability to meet its goals effectively. As a major brand within its vertical one of its goals was not only to expand its customer base but also to enhance brand awareness in both traditional and digital realms. Partnering with Kemana was a key step in achieving these objectives.

CHALLENGE

The project involved transitioning from a WhatsApp-based purchasing system to a full fledged Ecommerce platform, developing a solution that was both fast and scalable to meet urgent demands, and ensuring rapid deployment while allowing for future updates and customizations.

Kemana leveraged its Optima Accelerator Platform to facilitate Depo Bangunan’s swift implementation, providing the necessary customization flexibility for the diverse needs of the Depo Bangunan group.
