BACKGROUND

Urban Icon is a renowned multi-brand curator specializing in top-notch accessories, including watches, wearables, leather bags, fashion jewelry, and more. Their exceptional brand portfolio includes globally recognized names such as Fossil, Skagen, Rip Curl, Michael Kors, Marc Jacobs, Emporio Armani, Fjallraven, Diesel, Kate Spade, Liebeskind Berlin, Apple, and Samsung.

BRIEF

For years Urban Icon has trusted Kemana as its Ecommerce Solutions partner. Our collaboration began when Urban Icon sought our expertise to enhance their online presence, starting with their website on Magento 1. Kemana was then selected to successfully migrate and upgrade the brand platform to Magento 2, ensuring a seamless and modernized Ecommerce experience.

GOALS

The primary goal of this project was to create an exceptional Ecommerce site that offers various promotions tailored to specific customer groups. Additionally, the site was designed to provide Bank Promotion offerings based on Bank Identification Numbers (BIN) from different banks, limited flash sale products, in-store pickup options, sales notifications for store managers, customized backend access for individual stores, and ten different customized reports.

CHALLENGE

Throughout the project, our team faced several challenges, such as ensuring a User Experience (UX) that meets Urban Icon’s high standards, seamlessly integrating multiple discount schemes within the Cart and Checkout pages, and implementing a user-friendly Promo Pages where visitors can easily apply promotions during checkout.

SOLUTIONS

To address these challenges, we customized the Ecommerce platform to align with Urban Icon’s specific requirements. Our team incorporated reputable modules that provided robust support for the client’s unique demands. Rigorous testing was conducted to ensure the smooth functioning of various promotions running simultaneously on the site. We also performed load and performance testing, as well as penetration testing, to ensure optimal security measures were in place.

To elevate the customer journey, we implemented several key features:

  • Detailed product information is provided to empower visitors with the knowledge they need to make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Advanced product attribute filtering on the Product List Page, enabling visitors to efficiently refine their searches.
